In the 1950, Bruder began to use injection molding and became recognised specialists in the molding of high quality durable plastic toys.

The extensive range of construction vehicles that Bruder is now famous for began in the late 1960. New vehicles and improvements in design and quality has continued since and Bruder products are now considered the highest quality and most realistic play vehicles available. ABS is used to make most Bruder components (like LEGO) providing exceptional strength, durability and eventual recycling. In 2011, Bruder launched bWorld which is a 1:16 scale and standard among the range ensuring interchangeability and play longevity.
