We keep an extensive range of quality Siku die-cast vehicles and gift sets at our Olinda store.

Sieper-Werke (The Sieper company later called SIKU) was founded in 1921 in Germany. It was originally a manufacturer of metal tools and cutlery, then later the company began to produce small toys in their Lüdenscheid factory.

The first vehicles were generic representations of a fire truck, a race car, an amphibious truck, a moving van, and finally, in 1955, a Porsche 356. The scale chosen was approximately 1:60 which is a recognized standard amongst toy makers worldwide.

Siku products are made in Germany and use a combination of zinc die-cast and complimentary plastic components. The choice of material is made on the grounds of longevity and functional requirements to produce products of exceptional quality. Siku vehicles can become collector’s items depending on the rarity, condition and model.
