Both a theatre AND a little shop!
Our Fiesta puppet theatre is an excellent way to give kids a space to perform little puppet shows. It's flexible and modular and because the theatre is reversible. On the other side, it's a beautiful market stall suitable for use when roleplaying shops.
When in theatre mode, a silk backdrop is installed which helps hide the knees or the faces of the people operating the marionettes or puppets. The rail that holds the backdrop can also be used to attached your own backdrops using clothes pegs. The parts included allow you to build it in a table top mode (half the height) or an upstanding mode (full height as shown).
This theatre comes in a box and is easy to assemble. The opening is large enough for two Silly Puppets or most of our smaller puppets. It's not suitable for the big Folkmanis puppets of professional size marionettes. When play is over, it all packs away into the box.
Be brave, have a go ... don't let puppets intimidate you. Kids typically react very well to puppets, and we're happy to show you a few tricks. Puppets make great gifts because puppetry fosters creativity, communication, and empathy in children, making learning enjoyable while enhancing social and emotional skills through imaginative play.
