Echidna!
These beautiful little creatures are found throughout Australia and not currently at risk of extinction. They feed primarily on worms, termites, ants, and other insects. Because they move so slowly and can wander along roadsides looking for termites, echidnas are also vulnerable to being hit by vehicles.
