A Fistful of Gemstones!
What a great way to start collecting natural mineral gemstones. These gemstones are naturally occuring minerals and each is unique and the result of complex natural processes within our Earth. The samples are polished which makes them smooth to touch and allows the light to show the crystalline structures within.
Children with a curiosity in the sciences can be encouraged to explore their world by enjoying a sample of 25 different types of polished gemstones. By using a small torch or a magnifying glass, they can explore the way the light interacts with the mineral.
